Today is the day. We have the winner.
The winner of my fan made music video contest is David Estep.
First of all I would like to thank everybody who submitted to the contest, and I am not just saying it. Every submission touched my heart. I would also like to thank my fans whose generosity made this contest possible.
In order to determine the winner, I sort of stepped aside and let the “popular vote” decide. I personally know one of the contestants and really like his video, too (as I do many of the entries), but as I said, I let the numbers speak for themselves so that my subjectivity does not get in the way.
Here is the winning entry.

Congratulations David.
Even though I suspect you were messing around with commenting on your own video with different accounts.
Almost all of those accounts were made minutes before commenting on your video, and not watching any other videos on youtube. Suspicious to me. But I’m not the judge here, Lena is.
Anyways, what I really wanted to Lena :
First of all, I myself am not a contestant.
On the rules of the contest I read that the final judgment would be made bases on a couple of aspects, one of them view count on youtube and one other I remember being artistic value. Which brings me to what dissapointed me, as I understand it, you basically said you only paid attention to the public vote. This brings me to my first topic about me suspecting a cheater. It is really easy to create different accounts as a competitor and rate your own video.
Lena, maybe I’m wrong and it was really David’s friends who commented. Even that is not fair in my eyes. I mean if I would be on a site for years building a network and make a video, ofcourse most of them would rate my video a good grade. That’s probably how all of the competitors gained votes and views, with David having the most.
What I want to tell you is that most comments and ratings on all the videos are not objective.
Lena, I think you should at least pick a video yourself, it was posted in the rules.
According to the rules public vote counted, but the judges decide. You might bring some friends to help you pick one, because it seems unfair to the other contestants.

^ I’m confident in my work that I would never do what you have accused me of. Please explain to me how I could garner such high view counts? Most of the comments came from my friends on the forums. I told them if they had time to please comment and most of them made their first account the day they commented. I also have 81 ratings, are you saying I would make 81 accounts also?
And obviously a lot more people than my “Friends” liked my video because of 17,000+ views. If you type in “lena goodbye” on youtube my video is also the first one that comes up.
I also don’t appreciate you implying my video was bad and it was just the views and ratings. I happen to think artistically it was worthy and of good quality.

Hank, I appreciate your input. I don’t think I want to create a quarrel here. Artistically, I LOVED videos by all finalists. Each of them was very artful in its own way, the rest is mere subjectivity. I wish each of these submissions could get the grand prize. Even more so, one of the submissions was by somebody who I consider a friend and who I’ve known for years, so I had to take myself out of the equation and pay more attention to other people’s opinions, to be honest. So please, no arguments.
